About the Free Iran Alliance

Mission Statement

  • The Free Iran Alliance (FIA) is a coalition of distinguished leaders, including former heads of state, ministers, and other prominent figures committed to advocating for a free and democratic Iran.
  • The FIA views a free and democratic Iran as essential for stability in the Middle East.
  • The FIA is committed to supporting the Iranian people's efforts to establish a secular republic based on human rights, gender equality, and free and fair elections.
  • The FIA supports the Iranian people's right to self-determination, free from theocracy and a recreated dictatorial monarchy. It advocates for a future where Iranians can choose their government democratically, rejecting all forms of dictatorship.
  • The FIA is guided by the June 2024 statement on Iran, titled 'Supporting Freedom and Resistance in Iran for Global Peace and Security,' which has been endorsed by 4,000 parliamentarians and 137 former world leaders.

Key Objectives
